RLS S1 3D Printer
$2,000.00
High-Speed, Fully Enclosed CoreXY 3D Printer
Unleash ultra-fast printing, advanced materials and professional features — in one sleek, turnkey machine.
Why you’ll love it
Built on a rigid CoreXY frame with a fully-enclosed print chamber, the Kobra S1 delivers high-speed precision printing with improved thermal stability and material compatibility.
With a generous 250 × 250 × 250 mm build volume, you have room for large models, functional prototypes or batch printing with ease.
Powered for speed: prints up to 600 mm/s and accelerations up to 20,000 mm/s²—ideal for cutting lead times while maintaining quality.
Hotend reaches a maximum of 320 °C, coupled with a heated bed up to 120 °C, giving you compatibility with PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, ASA—and even more advanced composites with the right setup.
Ultra-quiet operation (~44 dB in quiet mode) makes it suitable for workshop, office or maker-space use where noise matters.
Smart features included: automatic bed-levelling (LeviQ 3.0), filament run-out detection, power-loss resume, and support for third-party slicing via WiFi/App control.
Who is this for?
Hobbyists and makers who want high-performance features (enclosure, high temp hotend, fast speeds) without scaling to industrial size.
Prototypers and small-shop users looking to move beyond basic printers, print more materials and reduce cycle time.
Multicolor or multi-material users: The S1 supports an upgrade path for multi-filament/multicolor printing when paired with modules like Anycubic ACE Pro.
What’s in the box & setup
The printer is largely pre-assembled, minimizing setup time so you can go from unbox to print quickly.
Comes with tooling and consumables to help you get started: build plate, basic accessories, and instructions for calibration.
Fully enclosed design helps with airflow control (important for ABS and ASA) and keeps ambient disruptions to a minimum.
Pro tips for best results
Use the 0.4 mm nozzle for standard detail work; the S1 also supports 0.6 mm or 0.8 mm nozzles for faster big‐part printing.
For high temperature materials (PC, PA, composites) ensure you upgrade nozzle/hotend components and manage chamber cooling/ventilation appropriately.
Ensure the build plate is fully leveled via LeviQ 3.0 before the first large print — an accurate first layer is key at high speeds.
Keep in mind while the machine supports very high speeds, optimal quality for many prints may still personally calibrate around 200-300 mm/s, especially for fine details.
A note on community feedback
The S1 has received strong marks for print speed, quality and material flexibility. One review from Tom’s Hardware said:
“After hundreds of hours of printing, this machine has joined a select group of printers I trust to just set it and forget it.”
That said, some users have flagged the slicer software and advanced setup tweaks as areas that require more user involvement. Good to know if you’re planning full plug-and-play.
In short: if you’re aiming for a powerhouse mid-sized 3D printer that combines high speed, premium materials readiness, and robust enclosure, the Anycubic Kobra S1 delivers. Activate your creativity, iterate faster, and upscale your capability without moving into industrial scale.
